IMMEDIATE NEED .EPC client needs a Construction Site Safety Manager to join their team and support projects throughout the US. You need 12
years of construction site safety experience supporting large, heavy industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate has refinery & gas processing plant construction safety experience. Excellent pay, benefits and opportunity.
Responsibilities for the Safety Manager
Set up, implement and manage the site HSE Program for all phases of construction and commissioning
Responsible for monitoring site health & safety programs and ensuring that Company's personnel & Subcontractor's are adhering to these programs
Review safety programs to ensure compliance with all government regulations and that all applicable reports are complete
Responsible for tracking, ratings, and metrics for site safety program
Develop a construction site safety audit program together with subcontractors
Remain current with working knowledge and developments of applicable EPA, OSHA, state and local government requirements and programs
Review the implementation of the work permit system and of the implementation of protective measures against hazards on site
Participate in audits, inspections and safety walks
Requirements for the Safety Manager
12
years of experience as a Construction Site Safety Specialist & Manager supporting heavy industrial plant construction projects
Ideal candidate has specific experience on refinery and gas processing plant EPC projects
You need to have your OSHA 500, First Aid, & CPR training completed
You need to be willing to travel and be located at the project sites in the US
Any Safety & Health certifications or degrees are considered a PLUS (GSP, ASP, CHST or CSP designation)
