Responsibilities may include:
Being a safety leader
Mentoring and working with a team of Multi-Skilled Operators and Contract Operators that operate oil and gas wells, gas compression & dehydration, measurement and all surface facilities in a safe and efficient environmentally sound manner
Liaison with various work groups (i.e. Engineering, Systems, Projects, and Maintenance) to accomplish priorities in the assigned area
Conducting and participating in pre-start up reviews
Auditing work done by contractors and employees in area
Scheduling, monitoring and filing regulatory H-5''s,H-15''s, Change of Status, and First Delivery reports
Assisting with the development of operations procedures
Coordinating with Engineering and Operations to achieve established objectives and to minimize interruptions to operations
Training and /or auditing contract personnel on policies and procedures
Downtime reporting and reporting of production volumes
Assisting with OPEX tracking and reporting
Utilize Cygnet for production surveillance and optimization
Training and assisting field operator in Cygnet, Avocet, reporting systems, pump-off controllers, Wellview, Wellsite, and LPRS
Daily focus on well review and optimization
Track and finalize wells on morning report
Able to be on-call for weekend rotation
Qualifications:
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver''s license
7 years of direct experience in upstream field operations
Advanced level of proficiency of oil and gas operations, gas compression, measurement and surface facility operations and maintenance
Preferred:
Associates Degree/Trade Certification or higher in a Production Technology, Process Technology or related technical field
Proficient (ability to perform skill with little assistance) with Word, Excel, SAP, Wellview, Avocet and Power Point
Understanding well control theories and techniques
Ability to prepare accurate and legible reports
Ability to read and understand production and financial reports
Ability to react to visual and aural signals, alarms, and instructions
Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments
Generates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions
Actively communicates and takes time to safely perform work to protect our people and environment
Encourages new ways of looking at problems, processes or solutions
Constantly searches for and implements new ways of doing business better
Builds positive relationships across organizations that foster a strong work enviornment
Transmits information so it is received and understood in the way it was intended
Responds resourcefully, felexibly and positively when faced with challenges and demands
