Oilfield Adventure

Links Logistics companies operate all across the Western US- trucking and warehousing for mining, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and packaging. In North Dakota, we're hauling Frack Sand in dry bulk pneumatic tankers for Oil Drilling companies. Business is growing, and we're now adding safe CDL Class A Drivers. If you want to be part of the Energy Revolution that's happening in North Dakota, read on.

HOME TIME: Our Drivers appreciate home time, and they enjoy 10 days off after their 40 day rotation. Links Logistics pays you $80.00 per day for work time and home time. $80 per day -every day after training.

PAY: Drivers are 'on-call' during your 40 days on - and we have a lot of work. Drivers earn good money when you haul - generally from rail car to drilling location. $80 per day PLUS a percentage of the load you haul. In addition to payroll every other Friday, Links Logistics TOTAL COMP package includes Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Paid Time Off. New Drivers receive $1,000 bonus 90 days after their hire date and $2,500 on each consecutive yearly anniversary.

HOUSING: The North Dakota oil boom is unique in the fact that there is not nearly enough housing for all the workers needed to do the work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kafIZwybJ68&feature=youtu.be
Links Logistics handles this issue for our employees by treating the job as if it were an Over-The-Road job. Trucks have large sleeper cabs and Drivers stay in the truck working a 40 days on, 10 days off schedule. (Drivers are paid for all 50 of these scheduled days.) Our Terminal in Watford City will be your home-base with a Drivers' lounge, showers, laundry facilities, a full maintenance shop and wash bay.

WARNING: If you haven't been to North Dakota in the Winter, prepare for Arctic conditions. 20, 30, 40 degrees below zero is not uncommon. Links provides most Personal Protective Equipment - mask, hardhat, safety glasses, fire-retardant coveralls. But you need your own steel toed boots, warm under clothing, gloves, etc. If you have your own GPS and Inverter, those are good to have too. We're often in unchartered territory on temporary, unmarked roads.
