Yes Job Description Select's EHS Coordinator's primary purpose is to provide support functions to operational service lines by promoting occupational health awareness, eliminating hazardous activities by monitoring operations and emphasizing safety policies.
The EHS coordinator will spread safety (OSHA) awareness, be versed in all OSHA regulations, diligent, analytical, detailed, and be sensitive toward potential dangers.
The Coordinator will also manage DOT responsibilities including insuring employees are in compliance with all Federal and Company regulations.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to Drives cultural change within the organization and improves performance as it relates to safety and safety culture.
Perform EHS inspections, field audits, and facility/yard audits.
Identify hazards and mitigation steps while having open communication with leadership.
Responsible for responding to incidents during non-working hours and rotating weekend call outs.
Lead incident investigations, gather and enter information into incident management system while updating the report with any pertinent information as it becomes available.
Travels to work locations to coordinate the overall safety program with field personnel.
Consults with operational managers to ensure timely and effective resolution of safety concerns.
Act as a resource and subject matter expert for employees in matters relating to occupational safety and environmental related concerns.
Present monthly safety meeting topics in a classroom and field environment.
Experience dealing with all levels of employees, from entry-level employees to upper-level management.
Oversees DOT obligations, to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Provide answers to employee questions about company policies, procedures and standards and escalate to Compliance management or other functional areas as needed.
Maintain filing system and ensure that regulatory and compliance reports and licenses are filed timely and correctly.
Ensure that appropriate control systems are in place and continually optimized to meet changing regulatory, industry standards.
Must be multi-tasker and team player, able to work within a group, take direction from supervisors, and exhibit tenacious follow through with great attention to detail.

Preferred degree or certification in related field.
1 year of oil and gas/ industrial experience (or related experience).
Some electrical or water transfer experience a plus.
Willingness to grow and develop with the position as it evolves.

Self-sufficient; self-starter.
Ability to work independently establish priorities and complete competing assignments within required timeframes.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Organizational and time management skills.
Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle in accordance to Select's policies.
Oil and gas operations beneficial.

Physical Demands and Exposures Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
